Jason Statham features in Dungeon siege movie

The game dungeon siege is the base for a new to be released movie directed by Uwe Boll.
the movie is following the first Dungeon siege game and the story starts like the game did. a farmer that discovers his wife is kidnapped and his son killed.
Jason Statham (Snatch, Transporter 1 & 2, War) plays Farmer who is the avenger of his pillaged land and finds himself in an adventure that grows out to be an epic story. The movie has been pre showed in a few film festivals in the states and considering Uwe Boll, the most people are negative in their critics… I’m wondering why? the cast is pretty awesome and with fantasy you can screw up a lot more than with real life stories. You can always use the computer to make it look a little better. I enjoyed playing the game and like to see this movie just for the sake of seeing Jason Statham in an medieval setting, I know he’s good with guns etc. but is he as good with swords? I wonder……
The release is in the first quarter of January.
